Every bit of information you've ever read about men not being as interested in planning their own wedding as you will be is mostly true. Coming to terms with that, I decided to stop waiting on the FH aka Mr. H to finish compiling his list before I got over some hurdles and disposed of some necessary evils.
First order of "bidniss", our website. I'm the design chick and so much more comfortable with a computer than I am with actual humans (what?), that I knew I could knock the early stages of this task out of the box with little to no input from Mr. H. Being the research and comparison shopping maven that I am, I decided to go with eWedding for our site. As frugal as I am, I did opt for a package and got our own domain. I've always been generally annoyed by this: http://www.website.com/INSERTYOURUSERNAMEHERE and http://INSERTYOURUSERNAMEHERE.website.com. Not that there is anything wrong with that type of web address, it just gives me an itch when I'm behind the site. Not surprisingly, eWedding has some pretty nice features (that I would have built in with code on my own) included in the packages. Big plus!
Now onto the stuff I've been DYING to share!

Guilt Trip
So as you can see it is April 20th and my last posts were put up on March 30th. Slacking much? I recently ran into a little issue (with me!) You see, I have been planning and researching and engrossed in all things bridal for at least a few months and what have I done? Kept it all to myself. How could I be so deep into planning and reading everyone else's blogs for ideas and inspiration and not reflect ANY of that here? One track mind? HELLO! I'm supposed to be blogging about all the ideas pouring out of me and flying into this one track mind...right here.

Adding Mr.'s Take
I thought hard for a while on whether I wanted to invite the "Mr." to add a little insight here. You know, the male perspective. He's a wise guy (in a good way), he's also an accomplished sarcastic, as am I. So yeah, after some deliberation, i decided "What's the worse that can happen?". I also sent up a heartfelt prayer that there won't be any "special" diatribes jumping off on the Indeed blog. Here goes nuttin'! CLICKED! INVITE SENT! I guess we'll all know if he accepted when we see his first post...goodie goodie!

My "Wedding Planner"
| Some brides have a beautiful (and expensive) planner with all those lovely removable pages, pockets, rings, and a pretty pen to go with it! WELL... mine is this cute little notebook (composition) of course. I have a deep seated problem with making notes on everything and then losing the little papers. SIGH... But with this book, I can do all my "genius" doodles (what I call the controlled chaotic randomness of my note taking) and as long as I don't lose the book, crossing my fingers, I'm home free! What are some of your unconventional ways of staying an organized (somewhat at least) bride? | |||

What's in it for you?
Most people know exactly what topics they want to read about on a blog and others... well... they kind of stumble onto blogs and stay there (or not!). I started reading blogs once I knew I'd be planning a wedding and as a side addiction, I read the blogs of people who also have terminal diagnoses. I don't think I am morbid, per se. Sometimes it feels good knowing "I'm not the only one." And buh-leeeeeve me, I'm not. So what's in it for you? Be happy to tell you!

I destroyed my blog!!!
Ok. I have finished fiddling with this blog's look (for now hehee). In coming posts, you may see many posted per day. Thats just me, reposting some that I (*cough*) deleted, BY MISTAKE! I am actually editing this one because I tried the blog by mobile feature and it turned into three text message length posts! SMH... All in all, please bear with me and in the meantime take a look at My Story, definitely share your own, and join the Indeed fam! Love & Joy! K. bai!
